Wordpress hosting that doesn’t suck.

Let’s keep it sweet and simple - if your business is utilizing WordPress as it’s CMS (Content Management System) - then you know half of the battle can be keeping up with updates, understanding how those updates will impact your live website and wondering if you have any way to back track. We recommend our clients use Kinsta for a few major reasons which we’ve personally experienced and continue to see in a lot of the WordPress clients we help on a daily basis. Our links are affiliate links and we get paid if you choose to use Kinsta as a result of this post BUT we wouldn’t be making the recommendation if we weren’t certain it can benefit you. Here’s a few ways how:

  1. easy one-click Wordpress staging

Why hassle with plug-ins that take hours to create a backup of your WordPress website and fight the download to a cloud service logins? In our experience those added plug-ins bloat and slow down your site while only adding some minor features that you should be able to achieve with your host anyways. TA-DA! We rely heavily on the Kinsta one-click staging features to make life easier when working through WP updates, plug-in updates, product feature adjustments, and more. Even better, if you’re working in an environment where you need to clone a live site backwards to a staging environment, the process is just as simple. Check out some examples here: How to Use Kinsta’s One-Click Staging Environment.

  2. Straight Forward & FAst Customer Support

I will refrain from naming other hosting companies but we all know that sometimes you need quick answers to questions that can’t be found in the existing support documentation. The fact of the matter is sometimes it can take multiple tiers of support teams to get to the person who actually has that information. In the case of Kinsta’s customer support, we’ve been able to access a live chat and answers to questions 24/7. In this day and age you need your website live 24/7 - having the comfort of mind knowing that the Kinsta team is there to support you is an important function of any great hosting provider.

  3. Kinsta CDN vs. Cloudflare CDN

Ultimately, you’ll want your website to load quickly. After all, the average attention span of your typical website visitor is that of a dog named Doug watching a squirrel dart around your backyard. Queue up the ole’ CDN or Content Delivery Network. (Side note - Netflix has a very cool CDN that is worth researching if you like to nerd out on really cool stuff.) Kinsta has a great support article explaining the deep inner workings of the CDN, so I’ll spare you on that today. But I will tell you this - the number of issues we’ve run into with Cloudflare CDN’s, they are fantastic at blocking bad traffic. For the folks who have less technical experience however the Kinsta CDN can get you one step closer to faster website load speeds with less stress in the setup process.

All of the above being said, we really like Kinsta because we just haven’t run into any issues in the 2 years we’ve been using them as our hosting provider. If there’s someone out there considering a switch from GoDaddy or Bluehost or any other hosting provider, I would recommend you check out the features here… we’re fairly certain that what Kinsta offers can help you more in the long run.

As always if you need anything specific or want assistance evaluating your current hosting needs on your WordPress website. Please reach out to us here and we’ll be more than happy to hop on a phone call to discuss!
